The average faucet in a non-conserving American household uses 2.75 gallons of water per minute on full blast.

 

While upgrading to a more water efficient faucet - 1.25 gallons/minute - is encouraged, it may be a bit expensive.

 

This is why we strongly promote upgrading your faucet aerator with a low faucet aerator ($1.50 - $10).

By upgrading your hose with a water pressure regulating head, with multiple flow options, you can be saving a huge bundle.
